Why do I see multiple cube names when starting the app?

The app can connect to all cubes it detects in the same room. So if you have multiple cubes around your device, it will show you all of them.

What is “Solo” mode?

In Solo mode you solve the cube while a timer is running.

In Pro mode, what does “Quick Match” mean?

Quick Match means each player starts from a different starting point, meaning it is not considered a fair match.

What is the “Solver”?

The Solver takes you step by step through the moves you need to do in order to solve the cube.

How do I change my name/password in the app?

You can do it by going to the "Hamburger menu" button on the upper left corner, then “Edit Account", and finally "Change User Name/Password".

Why do I need to hold the cube with the logo facing upwards and the green centerpiece facing me?

Two reasons: 1. To be synced with the app. 2. In some modes (like the Solver), the app can ask you to rotate the cube’s face, so you should be synced with the app.

I see multiple cube names in the app, how do I know which one is mine?

Most chances are that the cube at the top of the list is yours. If not, you can go to any other room where you know for a fact that there are no other Bluetooth cubes around and connect.

How do I know my cube is connected to the app?

The only way you can verify your cube is connected is by playing with it. Once it moves on your screen, you know it is connected.

How do I compete with other people?

At the bottom of your screen, press the boxing glove icon, and then click “Scrambling” for a scrambling battle, or “Pro Cuber” for a regular battle. !mceclip0.png

How do I play Scramble Battle?

The rules are simple: the first one to track all moves (notations) on the screen wins!

Does the app work for both Android and iOS phones?

Yes! The app supports both Android and iOS phones. Be sure that your device meets the following requirements: iOS 8 or higher or Android OS 5.1 or higher Bluetooth version 4.1 or higher

Do I need to sign up for the app?

If you want to enjoy all the features of Rubik's Connected you will need to sign up. The app will skip the SignUp section only if you are not connected to the internet.

Where can I download the Rubik’s Connected app?

How do I connect my cube to the app?

Once you log in to your app, it will show your Rubik's Connected on the pairing list. Tap on the cube to connect to it.
