Can I use Rubik's Connected without its app?

When the cube is disconnected from its app, it continues to monitor your moves with its sensors.

When it is reconnected to the app, it will sync your cube state onto the phone. The cube will continuously track your cubing progress even while offline (disconnected from the app), and sync this information onto the phone when reconnected.
